LEGAL TECH ASSOCIATION PRESENTS NEW BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND FOCUSES ON INNOVATIVE CHANGE OF DIRECTION

Four new faces strengthen the Executive Board with immediate effect

The election of the board of directors is an important step in the strategic development of the association,” says Dr. Philipp Plog, chairman of the board of the Legal Tech Association Germany, “we are very pleased about the election made by our members,” Plog continues. The board elections strengthen the association as a driving force in the German legal market. The focus for the next two years will be on the association’s political work as well as on accompanying the legal market into the AI age and expanding its member offerings.

A total of six Executive Board positions were filled for a term of two years. The two Chairmen of the Executive Board, Alisha Andert and Dr. Philipp Plog, had already been confirmed in office in 2022.

The Legal Tech Association is pleased to welcome the new board and is excited about the collaboration ahead. The new board members are:

 

  • Philippa Peters, founder & COO/CLO of Fides
  • Mariam El-Ahmad, Co-founder of Rotwang Law
  • Sven-Alexander v. Normann, Head of Legal Strategy and Operations of Bauer Media Group
  • Sebastian von Glahn, CEO of TalentRocket

 

Board members Maraja Fistanic, founder and CMO of LegalTegrity, and Dr. Philipp Hammerich, founder and managing partner of rightmart, will remain with the Legal Tech Association.

With great respect and gratitude, the association remembers the previous board members Valesca Molinari, Antonia Pape and Alkan Dogan, who did not stand for re-election after two years of intensive service.

Founded in May 2020, the association already brings together more than 120 market players in Germany who are united by the desire for a fair and competitive opening of the legal market. Members include players from across the legal market, including law firms, legal protection insurers, debt collection service providers, mediation platforms, contract gene-rator providers, and software and media companies (including Flightright, ARAG, C.H. Beck Verlag, Wolters Kluwer, Gansel, Lawlift, Myright, Rightmart, Advocard, RA-MICRO, STP, Bryter). It is the only association in Germany that brings together players in the legal market, regardless of their profession, to leverage the enormous potential of technology for the advancement of legal advice.
